How do I know which shade is right for me?
For best results, match your shade to the lightest tones in your hair – we’ve also developed a handy Shade Selector Quiz to help you.
Can I use Supergloss if my hair has been dyed or bleached?Yes, you can - but here are a few things to keep in mind! You’ll want to shade match to the lightest tones in your hair for best results. If you’ve bleached or highlighted your hair, we recommend sticking to our Highlights range or going with Sheer Glow for a fully transparent gloss. Avoid using darker shades on previously highlighted or bleached hair, as this can result in staining. We always recommend performing a strand test before application to ensure you’re achieving the desired result with your selected shade.
Can I use Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss on wigs or extensions? Yes, Glaze Supergloss will work just as well on wigs or hair extensions as it does on the hair God gave you. Just make sure that the color doesn't cover the bonds on your extensions, as this can cause them to slip. Wigs and extensions MUST be made of real human hair.
Why doesn't Glaze work on greys? On early greys, where most of the hair strands are still producing melanin, Glaze supergloss can be used to blend away the few grey hairs. However when the majority of hairs are grey and have lost their ability to produce melanin and sebum, the hair becomes drier and more porous. This can lead to uneven or patchy results with a semi-permanent hair color and significant potential for discoloration as the color washes out. Permanent or demi-permanent hair color options are recommended for grey hair.
