There's nothing like a really good hair day.
You know the feeling. That so-smooth-and-glossy-it-reflects-the-light, curls-falling-like-they’re-supposed-to, flyaway-free, just generally GREAT hair day. We all lust after that shiny, healthy, my-hair-but-better feeling. BUT, we struggle to find the right products that we can use at home to get us there – products that don’t need a hairdresser course to use, that are easy, simple, safe… and, ideally, also pretty enough to take pride of place on our bathroom shelves.
Essentially, the unicorn of hair products?
Something like that. So about 2 years ago, we began the search for a hair product that could take legendary status – one that would give shine, conditioning and a boost of color vibrancy. One that would be easy to use (even for the most hair-inept of us out there). One with recyclable packaging that could fit in with our shelves of skincare, makeup, and shampoo. And, just to make sure that it couldn’t be too simple for us, ensuring it was 100% Vegan, Cruelty Free, Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, Silicone Free… and suitable for all hair types, textures and tones. It was time to get to work.
So, we started to test...
We tested as many formulas as we could get our hands on to try to find this mystical product. From foams, to liquids, to creams – we tried it all. Thank goodness for lockdown, where any hair disasters could be quietly hidden on zoom calls! Eventually, we found a formula that we fell head over heels with – that deposited vibrant color, gave mirror glaze shine, and left our hair extraordinarily soft - and, luckily enough, it seems that everyone who tries it feels the same (or at least the 100+ women of all hair types, textures and tones who made up our consumer panel did!)
The Super Gloss was born!
We are SO excited that, after more than 18 months of planning, we’re finally ready to share Glaze with the world. We developed the product to help hair obsessives (like us) to get the best hair of their lives. That great hair feeling can help you to take on the world – it means you can be #alwayshairready.
